Does different microphone impedance change the pitch in voice transmissions on A.M.? In other words will different mics that are not for a particular radio make you sound higher pitched or lower pitched.

Wild Bill,

In Short the answer is YES Different Microphones will sound different.

It depends on the Radio and the Microphone.

If you have Talkback or a Microphone Tester W/speaker it will allow you to hear what you sound like.

Hope this helps.
