Hey Copper Folks!

I'm just curious, but is there an association bewteen Texas Ranger and Cobra? If there is, I was not aware of this! Reason I ask is that I've noticed that the (old?) Cobra Ultra 40 Home Base CB Station and the Texas Ranger TR-193 AM Base CB, which Copper carries, look to be the exact same radio!

What gives?

Thx

Adam

You want be able to keep up with the changes in radios today .General Radio uses Ranger boards but Ranger won't admit it.I asked Ranger about some parts for my General Grant with 6900 Ranger board and was told that Ranger has nothing to do with General.Seems to me that if they wanted to be so secretive about it they wouldn't leave the Ranger name and number on the board.
