I need a quality meter for the station. Is anyone familiar with the Astatic line of meters? Are they accurate, reliable, ect.

Thanks. . .

I have a astatic 700L and I really enjoy it.
By all indications it very accurate. I have compared it to many quality meters and for the money you cant go wrong. A Paradynamics 700 is also the same meter you save a little money if you get one of these. Quailty is the same.

I just bought one of these to put on my CB side of life. I am very very impressed with it! Seems to be very nicely made, accurate to other meters in my shack and looks very nice! If we could only get ham radio manufacturers to made a decent size meter like this, I'd be all set. A very good buy. I would recommend this product.--73

Pretty accurate meters.

PDC sold the business to Astatic several years ago. Atstatic re-designed the meter and added a peak and RMS switch. Looks much better now. I assembled and calibrated many upon many PDC 600/700 series meters while working for Valor / Para Dynamics. I calibrated against a bird 43 watt meter back in the day.
