Well again I have bought from copper This time a TOP ONE and as always copper delivered EXACTLY as they said they would. Now looking at this antenna it does look a bit strange but nicely made so with luck on sunday ill be using a real cb antenna..... not jogunn lets not even go there.
One thing it seems not to have any adjustmnts for frequency not a problem as long as its dead on for cb i have several 10 meter antennas but nothing for cb untill now.
The skylab-6 was damaged when we had a heavy thunderstorm ( + 60 moh winds ) so im going to try and put it back up along with the big ( VHF/UHF ) stick .... and then ill be good to go from 40meters to 3/4 meters....... now if the inspector would only sign off my new shack!

Bruce, that Top One is so light and the way it fits around the top of a pole I don't see how it could ever go anywhere. It'll be there. It is a good performer. Let us know how your swr comes out. I believe the different kinds of coax affect it's swr a lot. I never got to use any big coax on mine; so, I was never really satisfied with my swr.

Bruce,

Get that thing fired up! Hopefully I'll be able to talk to you on this weekends net! The conditions around here haven't been all that great the last week, but they could return at any time. At any rate, I'll be monitoring the net frequency on sunday morning for any possibilities.

I have one and it works great!!! I did modify it so that it will be a bit beefier in the midsection. Also made it tuneable too!!! :-)
