This radio that I have is a very good radio for around the place that I live. I talk a lot on ch. 23. Which in New York, in the county of Westester, Putnam, Dutchees it is a real cool and good taking radio.The audio on this radio is ok but not the best a power mic is very helpfull. I talk on the TSP Teconic State Parkway. channel 23
