I really like my DeltaForce. It does sound nice in all modes. I did have to recently adjust my SSB TX as it was slightly off frequency, but not all that bad. Lots of bells, whistles and PUNCH! It's a nice radio for the $$$ no doubt. The stock mic is impressive. Alsworld |

Excellent radio for the money. Has many great features: Scan, turbo echo, easy to use memory and best of all good receive and kick-a$$ audio!! I use one for my everyday mobile, people think I'm on a base. |

Jon666 I have been in the CB business for many years and personally I believe the DeltaForce to be one of the best SSB radios offered today. Unknown to most CBers, the roots of RF Limited go back quite a few years. All the way back to "Clear Channel Corporation". They were the ones who opened the doors to 10 Meter radios. And as you probably already know, your Delta has more features than any other "brandname" on todays market. And at less the cost. RF Limited now has a new model called the OmegaForce. If you think your Delta performs, the Omega is even stronger and with more features. If you're interested in the history of "CCC" and how they began, Email me and I'll send you something about them. 73s and enjoy your Delta. Jeff, kc0gxz. |

Jtc The "Transmit Frequency Adjustment" is VR-108. It is partially hidden on the very front of the PC board a little bit left from the center. An accurate frequency counter will be needed to set the operating frequency and the radio should be warmed up to operating temperature. Another and far better way is to just open the clarifier on his Delta. His transmit and receive frequency will then track together. Out of the box, this radio comes with a "fixed" clarifier. This means that he cannot move the transmit frequency with the clarifier knob. Only the receive frequency. If he is a dedicated sidebander, he will never be happy with this "Locked Clarifier". However, if he is just an A-Mer, then 600Hz is nothing to worry about. If you need help with this "clarifier mod", email me and I'll try to help in any way that I can. 73s and good luck.
