According to GAP Antenna Products the Titan DX is designed to operate from 10 meter through 80 meter. If I use this antenna on 11 meter only I would assume that I would be wasting a lot of capability as most of the elements won't be doing anything on 11 meter.

The Titan DX won't have a very low SWR on 11 meters. My dad's runs about 2:1 on 11, but is nice and low on 10.

Even on 10 meters, about 90% of the antenna is electrically 'invisible'. Also, the performance will not be tremendous over a high gain CB-only omni. Get a V-5/8 or for a wide bandwidth, an Astroplane (CTE 'Top One') and be forever happy. If you buy a CTE 'Top One', replace the hardware with good marine grade stainless. West Marine is a great source of marine stainless hardware in whatever quantity you ask (like 6). For the CTE, you will need 6 ss 1/4-20 by 3/4 inch screws, 6 ss lockwashers, and 6 ss nuts. I used ss nylock nuts (the ones with the nylon inserts) on mine.

If you ever get into ham radio, the Astroplane will cover 10, 11, and 12 meters pretty well without tuning. If you want 20, 40, and 80, buy the GAP. 20 and 40 are really hot right now.
