HI Taz, There is many frequency counters that will work with it. I have a galaxy Melaka base with a Galaxy FC100 frequency counter on it. The only thing i don't like about the base is it will only read the frequency while transmiting...73's Rich

TAZ: The only freq. counter that im aware of that had an RCA plug on it was a yeasu. {years ago} If your radio is like my saturn, the RCA jack has wires attached, but goes to a dead board. Bullshipper 537 TX

TAZ the fc-347 will work great on the
Melaka but the plug for the counter has to be wired into the radio first. Works great have done this mod. myself. Silverdollar

The fc-347 comes with a plug to wire directly into the radio and a very discriptive diagram and instalation instructions.

There is NO plug on this counter to go into the Melaka jack on the back of the radio!!
How do i wire a plug?? I have a diagram but it gives me a bunch of internal hookups!! I have 4 wires and then two in a small coax . I assume that the two together go to the plug but where does the power for the counter come from!!!!
