I was just wondering if any body else had a cobra 66ltd besides me. Not many people around here has ever heard of a cobra 66ltd. Any body know anything about this radio? |

Never heard of it. Maybe someone had a custom faceplate made. |

Snowfire, I remember the Cobra 67 LTD but only the Cobra 66 GTL. I still have 2 of the 63GTL's here with the extra Extension cords. Both are in Great working Condition and they Look Exactly the same as the 66GTL. For those of you who do not know what we are talking about they were some of the First Radio's called One Hander's. All Control's are Located on the Mic and you could store Radio in Trunk or Under Seat. Hope this help's. Lon Tech808 |

Tech808, This radio is a 66LTD. All the controle's are in the mic like you said about the 66GTL and the 63GTL. This is the first radio I have seen like this. I have asked a few people about when it was bilt and everbody seem's to thing around the 60's or 70's. It is a very good radio, it's kicking out about 22 watts. |
