I would really like to get some feedback on this radio. I have someone that has one that is available to me for purchase. Will a technician or someone with the knowledge please give me the heads up on this radio. I believe it was produced in 1978. AM/SSB and is a fairly large unit. I would appretiate some review of this unit or opinion from a qualified operator.

Its a 25 year old radio ... not a bad one.
MYSELF i would go with a better newer radio since i doubt SBE even if they are still around supports it...... AKA NO PARTS.

Thanks for the elmer Bruce, I think that I will order the Galaxy Base from Copper. The one that is just straight 11 meter.
