Does any one know if the SSB drift problem on these radios are fixed now that they have been out awhile. Like the big meter!

Thinking of getting one or a older Grant or ranger 696f mobile.

what would be the better radio?

Thanks, airplane1

AP1,I have both a dx959 and dx2547 and neither seems to have a drift problem.the big meter was the first thing that attracted me to these radios.i would still highly recommend either one of these.Troublemaker has a new 696f base which has the same chassis and he is happy with it also.

The 959 DOES DRIFT i had 2 of them but only if you are running it under changing tempture .... like in a car. There are a number of radios which use the same or close to the same board ...... it's a $160 radio not a $600 one. For CB use its fine and a good choice.
