I have seen this radio now on the internet, and am wondering, is this the old Super Star brand? Did Ranger buy them out and just throw the Ranger name in the front? Anyone know? Thanks Keith |

My buddy has one, it was always made for Ranger, I THINK. I don't like them, BUT he loves it? Go figure, they are a bargaimn and I can communicate with him well, since he wired it up to a 102" SS whip, flattened out the SWR, and is using a D-104 on it. |

New 3900 to be released. Has anyone seen one yet and does this have the plug for a counter on the back? Saw it at ranger site but no back view and not much info. Looks like no 10k switch too. |

Hey Wildchild. I saws one a few weeks ago, and you are right. It looks exactly like a Galaxy 77. Change the name from one to the other. The box said it was made in Malaysia. Keith in Atlanta CEF 150 |
