I noticed that the KL203 is equiped with 12 gauge power wires. Should I just add more 12 gauge wire with bullet connectors and hook them directly to my battery?

What is the best way to hook up my KL203?

Cbblackbeard,

Yes you can connect as you mentioned above.

I personally run 10 Gauge wire direct from the battery and connect both the Radio and Mobile Amps to that using the TP-10-2 Quick Disconnect's for Mobile Amplifiers and Radios.

They allow me to change radios and/or amps very quickly and easily to prevent theft.

Copper also carries the:

TP-2 / 16 Gauge Quick Disconnects
Part #W90-30012

TP-10 / 10 Gauge Quick Disconnects
Part# W90-30010

TP-8 / 8 Gauge Quick Disconnects
Part #W90-30014

Hope this helps.
