never heard of it. open it, look at what transistors it has, 2879-120watts, 2290 or 454-80w, 1446-70w, 455-60w. multiply by 8, give or take using 12volts in car, that could be approx swing on am or ssb, with 1/2 that being dead key. if using mobile, bare minimum would be 100 amp alternator w/at least 2 batteries to get anywhere near full output for more than momentary key, and to keep your batteries charged. input depends on which transistors in box, figure 40-60w dead key w/100-150 swing, such as 2 pill w/454 0r 2290's. 2970 radio should drive w/out using another amp.
all figures given are very rough estimates-many variables involved.

thanks for your input. it has 2879 pills with very large transformers. looks very well put together. ive used a rci 2960 with a 50 watt dead key 150 watts of swing. it dimmed my headlights with a 105 amp alternater. final output was a little over 950 watts. it sounded good but i think that is still low on the output for a box this size.

Juiceman,
Throw a deepcycle battery in line there, and the lights wont dim, and it will be easier on the alternator, I did it with a big X force box, and it worked fine.

as i said, those figures were estimates. close to 1400 watts is an outside possibility under perfect conditions w/12 volts. additional alternator running 18-20 volts could put amp over 2000watts

Sounds like a "Foxie Built Amp". Foxie lives in the state of Texas, and She is well known in the Amp building circuit, according to the "BIG STRAPS" in the south. She can do it all, from 8 pill to 64 pill amps. The big transformers were a dead give away.

Juiceman, the last time I saw foxie, was at the James Boys Break in Richmond Ca., this past september. I can only suggest, that you do a "Google" on Foxie built amps, or just Amplifiers, and see what pops up.
