Are you over modulating? That will do it.

You might try a bead on the power cord but the speakers is where i feel you have the best chance as for over modulation it might arguvate the problem but will not solve it.

Overmodulation might sound bad and would certainly splatter other channels, but it won't cause your signal to be rectified by your TV's speaker. It's near field radiation.

Is your antenna nice and high? Does your coax have good shielding? If it's an omnidirectional antenna does it have ground plane radials or a choke on the coax near the feed point? Is the coax shield grounded outside before it enters your house?

If all of that is done already, then your choices would be to use less power, raise or move the antenna, or wrap the TV in foil and ground it.

1861 ALL OF THE ABOVE ANSWERS ARE RIGHT BUT I'M JUST GOING TO GIVE YOU A ANSWER THAT A LOT DON'T CONSIDER, I'VE FOUND THAT A SINGLE POWER FEED LINE FROM YOUR MAIN BREAKER BOX TO YOUR EQUIPMENT AND A SEPERATE GROUND ROD TO YOUR EQUIP.OUT WAYS ALL WHEN YOU STILL HAVE TV,PHONE.INTERFERANCE. JUST FROM ONE HOW HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM,IT CAME DOWN TO FIX IT OR GET SHUT DOWN.( NEIGHBOR'S)GIVE IT A TRY YOUV'E GOT NOTHING TO LOSE IF YOU KNOW AC. POWER. BOB

I AM USING AN IMAX 2000 AT 35 FT. TO FEED POINT , I HAVE COAX JOINED JUST BEFORE IT ENTERS HOUSE WITH BARREL CONECTOR WHICH IS GROUNDED TO 8 FT ROD .I AM USING A KLV 550 RADIO AT 1 1/2 DK . PROBLEM INCREASES WITH MODULATION , BUT STARTS AT ABOUT 7 WATT PEP OUT OF RADIO . AS FAR AS I CAN FIND OUT , NO PROBLEM TO ANY NEIGHBOR , BUT WOULD LIKE TO FIX PROBLEM AT MY RADIO INSTEAD OF TV , TO MAKE SURE THAT IT DOESN,T POP UP AT A NEIGHBORS . OTHER WISE IT WOULDN,T BOTHER ME

What kind of coax are you using? How close is the grounded barrel connector to the ground? Do you have the coax wrapped into a choke coil just below the feed point or ground plane radials on the antenna? How far away from the antenna is the TV? It sounds like your installation is pretty good and would probably work well if you weren't using the KLV.
