astatic makes good mikes, too bad they have dropped so many.
I've got 2 new d-104s never used that one day I'll used with my 10 meter am station.

Just my opinion...

ok you all say it's a great mic but a friend of mine has one that he got at copper and something in it is really screwed up.it makes a crunchy sound when he keys up and the audio breakes up sometimes or drops out completly.whats up with that?

The cleanest audio I’ve used for a mobile without going to the noise canceling mikes. I use it on my Uniden PC-244 and Galaxy DX959. I don’t have any of the traditional talkback feedback problems that you sometimes get with power mics.

Bluegrass Astatic has a 1-year warranty. Have your friend e-mail them or call 440-593-1111. Hope this helps.
