Just had a tech give my Texas Star DX400V a service and found 2 of the 4 x 2290 pills were not working and has replaced them with 2879 pills (yes I was a bit long winded on the overs) realisticly would there be any increase in power output or power consumption over the standard 4 x 2290 pills?
I have now included two computer fans to keep things nice and cool

Like a 667V without the driver circuit, easy to fix though buy a TS VMOD.
