A joy to assemble and install, tunes easily, SWR 1.3 over most of the 40 channels, easily adjustable to suit your favorite channel.
This antenna uses 2 coils in the vertical section of the antenna in an attempt to lower angle of radiation and electrically shorten the antenna somewhat. Is this successful?? Somewhat.
The antenna recieves fairly well, and has good signal strenght on transmitting. I would equate this antenna near the IMAX 2000 in performance, but still slightly below... the quieter and a bit stronger Hygain Penetrator. Coax connector assembly could be better, that would be my only complaint.

Overall a very fine aluminum antenna. Recommended.

Interceptor 2K is next up, if weather here stays relatively warm.
