What are the differences between the Magnum S3 and the M1? They look very similar.

I'd go with the M1. Patton said "In my opinion, the M1 Rifle is the greatest battle implement ever devised." :-)

Thanks Lon,

I've heard alot of good things about the S3, but not too much about the M1 and they look like almost the same radio.

Rats, and I was about to order the s-3. It would be the s-9 without sideband.

Rfmeister,

Very easy it is called BRAIN OVER LOAD!

With about 14 hours of sleep in 5 days and 12 to 16 hours a day on the Forum and I did not check what I typed.

At any one time I am in the Chat Room, Forum, Echo Link and on the phone and have about 5 or 6 others windows open that I am working in.

Right now I am talking to Lowpowerhal in Echo Link and in here typing this and talking in the Copper Chat Room.

Oh and NEVER missed a Single day on the Copper Forum or a CEF Sunday Net in the last 29 Months.

Sorry,

Lon

ok, got my M1 from coppers two days ago and so far after being on air all that time, for an a.m. radio its nice!! little weak on fm modulation, but the am side drives my amp just like it likes!! also the top gun works well, both in close or at a distance?? im using the new stop sign looking mike thats the replacement for the d104, and the mike gain on it is almost 1/4 open, and the gain on the radio is at the 8:30 to 9 oclock position.. all reports say it sounds good there!! i had copper mod and convert this, and theres no complaint about it== so far, lol.. just thought id let youall no some about this radio in my own opinion. thanks..
