Was in a shop in NC a couple of weeks ago and saw a couple of amps called "Brute Force". Looked pretty nice. The sales lady didn't know much about them, just said to come back when the tech was there. Think it was about 200-300 watts. Has anyone ever heard of these or had any experience with them? |

Red_fish, WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM! Sorry, I have heard of them but have no information on them or know of anyone using one. Maybe one of the other Copper Forum Members will be able to offer you some help. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

The Brute fore amps are a cross between a Texas Star and a Davemade. They have switchable biasing so you can run class c for am/fm or ab for ssb. I like them personaly and they do very well. I do not know what the warranty is on these but I do know that Texas Star has an 8 year warranty compared to the comp boxes 1-2 year BS. So if you cant decide between a comp box of the Texas Star go with the Brute Force and you will have both. I cant post a pic due to its to big I guess but if you want pics pm me or email and I will send them to you. |
