I have talked to operators who use this radio. Its only AM & FM. Its a great rig. I believe it has a 2sc2290 final transistor so its a big radio for sure. They sound great. Only thing is no SSB. I use the 4800 for that. As a Connex owner myself I highly recommend this radio!!! |

I've had my 4300 for about 2 weeks and am very pleased. Good ears and excellent talker. The only thing I wish Connex had improved is the echo control. As soon as the echo is turned on it is already a little loud for my taste. Other folks say it sounds good, but it is just a little more echo than I would prefer. Other than that, GREAT RADIO!!!!!!
I'm also anxious to see the new 4600Turbo that will be out soon. |
