Can anyone give me some idea of the performance of the 4 element Mosley Powermaster and Scotchmaster Antenna's and how they compare to other similar antenna's.

I can't give you any personal info on those models. But I use a stacked set of 1968 Mosley Beams that are coming up on their 40th year of service without any and I mean any service. |

My DI-6 6 meter vertical lasted more that 30 years in the salt air of Seminole fla .....
Mosley is not cheep but they make good antennas. |

Yep, When the beams were put up by aka my dad he used coax size.... don't know kind but is about a little smaller in dia. than a roll of dimes and lots of the mosley putty that comes in a can at the coax splitters and the small black terminaton box on the the 2 driven element And with all brass bolts and alum. arm seperating the 3 elements beams on each end by 18' via help from stainless aircraft cable, The swr just doesn't change that much 1:5 to 1 and thats it. Total coax from transmitter is approx. 60 feet. The coax is half lap wrapped with the old pine-tar style electrical tape. |
