I can only turn the echo on just a little past the first setting, anything higher and it'll start squealing...Any ideas how to stop this? Thanks!

Pbgrk5,

Since the DM452 is a Power/Echo Mic does your radio have or are you using talkback and what is your Mic Gain set at?

Also if using Talkback and a Power Mic and a radio with Mic Gain do you have your Mic Gain turned down to prevent feedback?

If not try turning the Mic Gain down and your talkback WAY DOWN or Off then ask for a radio report and see it anyone says it is squealing.

Let us know.
