Hi gang!

Speaking of Cobra 2000 GTL base stations, I have a near mint one on the way with extra channels (above and below), beefed up power and tweaked modulation. I had a stock 2000 back in the early 1990s when they were still available on the market and I WISH I hadn't sold it! This will go nice with my new President Washington base unit. God knows why I wanted BOTH, but I do!

73s,

Adam in Baltimore

Being without those 3 frequencies, you're not missing a thing.

Trust me on this one.

I used to have a SWWWEEEETTTTTTTTTTT 2000 back in 1995 that i sold for $300.00 ( radio, stock mike, 2 speakers and external freq counter) to get a galaxy sat base.. I liked the 2000 but i liked the sat MUCH better in the talk dept but the 2000 had a SUPERIOR Receiver than the saturn.

I just picked up a bone stock 2000gtl with a speaker for $16.00 at a swap meet. It was built in 1991, it seems to work great and has not been hacked. I'm looking for a owners manual if anyone has a link or a source, copy or original is fine with me. cheers, sb106.

Drop a line to.....

Gary Bedell

I don't remember the cost but I think it was around $6.00 for the manual and a 11 X 17 inch schematic.

I'm sorry but I no longer have his E-Mail address.

Jeff.
