I must have been in the right place at the right time for once. I just became the proud owner of a Heil Goldline mic complete with boom and connecting cables. After listening to taped recordings of my voice on it I am very impressed with the sound quality. It has the HC5 element and sure makes the old Kenwood sound sweet.

I use the goldline also on my Kenwood 850, I tried no less than 10 mics on that radio, and the Heil has the best audio of them all! They are good for people with very bass voices.
