Could anyone tell me how good this radio is?
How is the receive?
How is the TX on AM?
How is the TX on SSB?
Does it respond well to peaking/tuning? |

Hmm Pat has posted on this one yet? LOL, I dont own one but a buddy of mine does been a real good talker so far, only problems as of now is that it had a bad solder joint on the board and I am sure there are many more we havent found yet.

i'd search out leftover texas ranger 296 series radios 1st, followed by general sherman, & then texas ranger 900 series radios before the galaxy. though the TR 900 radios use the same board as the galaxy, the parts installed are different. |
