Are there any advantages or disadvantages that one of these radios hold over another, like filtering, noise limiters, modulation, etc.? I like the glow in the dark Cobra, but I also like the speech processing of the K-40. Is there a clear winner between the two radios?. Which would you own? Finally, how do these radios compare to other mini-radios, like the Uniden 510 and 520 series radios, as far as durability, and overall quality?. Thanks in advance.
Wolverine.

I have a K40 with the speach processor system. I have had this for around 10 years and it always has worked very well with excellent audio reports. For a basic radio you can use day in and day out for years I would have to go with the K40.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving day, and remember to keep all our military men and women in your thoughts and prayers.

73 to all and God Bless, John
