OK, I just wanted to call your attention to an antenna product.
I ordered an all-band dipole called the Cobra Ultralite Senior. I really like this folded dipole because it takes up no more room than a standard dipole, can be configured as a flattop or an inverted "V" and, using a manual or auto-tuner, it tunes easily from 1.8 MHZ to 30 MHZ
and anything in between! And it is relatively cheap!  I was skeptical at first, but the results were quite pleasing. Mine is the "Senior" model at 140 feet long, and the "Junior is 73 feet and covers 80 thru 10 for the folks who are limited in room. Both antennas run about $85 assembled; all you have to do is hang it in the trees, tower, or whatever. With the required (not included) tuner) any CB, ham, or commercial radio operator has all HF frequencies at his disposal.
I know that there are radio lovers of all types on this forum, and I thought this antenna would be of interest.

This is a copy of the G5RV using a several dipoles fed from the center.... neat idea and will add bandwidth.....
Now there is nothing wrong with this it is a + and YES with a good tuner it will go 1-30 mhz..... UNLIKE the overpriced DX-CC which cost $140
The G5RV is very cheep ....but only used one dipole .... You can buy a G5RV for about $30
Now i use a DX-CC ( $129 base price no balum ) which is coax fed IT DOES NOT WORK WELL outside of the 3 bands it is cut for 40, 20 and 15 even with the loading coils for 75 meters it only has a band width of 25 KHZ |

I had a G5RV at one time and it went absolutely bonkers on some bands. It made my Yaesu tuner "hunt" and "hunt" working the latching relays to death! Now it may be that I did something wrong; I took it down and put up a regular ladderline-fed dipole using the parts from the G5. I replace this one after 15 years with the Cobra. I DO like it because, using my LDG autotuner I can work all the way down to 160 with it. I haven't been able to hit 160 in 10 years after my loop came down in a storm.
If you compare it with the pricey B & W folded dipole ($499 for 160 thru 10) the price isn't all that bad. I like this Cobra Ultralite.

Rover your antenna is like mine multi dipoles fed from the center .... only yours is 1/2 the price and works .... |

Ithink that the Cobra, like the B & W version is really a terminated Travelling Wave antenna and not really a dipole at all. |
