WHAT IS THE BEST GROUND PLANE? I HAVE A FRIEND THAT IS GOING TO PUT UP A GROUND PLANE AT 70 FEET WHICH ONE WOULD BE BEST?? THINKING MACO 5/8 OR I-MAX!

If the long radials aren't a problem and
you don't have real severe winters (ice), then the Maco 5/8.
If you want a wide bandwidth antenna thats
easier to mount and assemble, go with the Imax.

I believe Road Warrior is correct. One additional thing- At 70 feet, tuning is a real pain. If you want a 'set and forget it' antenna, choose the Imax 2000. At 70 feet, I am guessing the mast or tower will be guyed. In that case, don't bother with the GPK.
