Is the Dosy TC-4001P a true DC-powered PEP reading meter? The add mentions a power supply but Iam not sure if its for the PEP or just the lighted meter. And what is the Frequency coverage? How far off would this thing be on 160 Meters.Or can anyone suggest a economical PEP meter.

Blacksmith,

On our TC-4001P it shows accurate PEP on 2/6/10/11/12 Meters compaired to our Autek WM1.

As for 160 meters never tried it there.

The AC/DC Power Supply is for the Large 4-1/2 inch Backlit Meter.

Hope this helps,

Lon

Ok thanks Lon .I thought the meter needed some sort of external power supply to run the circut that lets you see PEP on the meter.
thanks again
