a particular question or problem? the transistor ones are all basically the same-palomar, boomer, galaxy, & the off-brand-named truckstop types.

How clean are they?
Compared to a tx 500v how is it?

I used one back in 1989. Did not care fot it!
But, this is 2006, maybe they figured out to build them by now.

which galaxy's are you talking about, if your talking about the blue faced high drives, they are not bad, but don't pay much, the tech round az wants a buck a watt for em

Bronzepony, I have owned at least half a dozen Galaxy amps. I own 3 DX500V's. IN the past I have had and sold many Texas Star amps. The Texas Star amps are FAR better amps than the cheap disposable Galaxy amps. Hey the Galaxy amps do the job but if you really want qaulity and reliabilty go Texas Star.73
