Hello,
Which is the better radio? Buying a new radio for my truck. I know the Galaxy is just AM, I have read that the Ranger 6300F25 has had it's problems though. What is your opinion.

WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!
The Galaxy DX959 is an AM/LSB/USB radio the same as the RCI-6900F25.
Both are good radios and it just depends on how much you want to spend.

the ept6900XXX board the 6300 & 6900 use is perceived to be a bit better in RCV & XMIT then the ept0696XXX board used in the 949/959/2547/396/696 etc.
i used a 6900 for a while before going with an S9, & had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever with it. i'd spend the extra bucks for one of them over the 959. |
