hey im looking for a really cheap base to set up at my cabin. I wanna plug my mobile (cobra 25) and use it. Anybody use those palomar amps with a power supply built in. How do they do?

Sorry, never used a palomar before but I have used the KLV-550 Base, and other local's around here have used the BOOMER 300 Base, and BOOMER 500 Base all with built in power supplies with good results and no problems.

I have the Palomar Deluxe 35a power supply with the 500 watt amp. Driven by my S9, I'm seeing 450 watts, so I'm happy. 1 year old and no problems.
