I got the Omega when it first cam out. I love it. It also has that built in modulator that the Delta doesn't. I hated that it was a 6 pin mic but I guess now they come in 4 pin? 6 pins are almost obsolete if you need to get a quick fix from a truck stop.....go Omega I really like the way you can preset 5 channels that you use a lot. go Omega! That's my 2 cents. spydrman CEF #778 ps. why not the s3, s6, or s9? just curious spydrman CEF #778 |

Never had an Omega but seems to be the same in MOST ways as the Delta I currently have. More options that I'll ever use but a few I do like. My (blue)Delta swings a nice 30+ when modulating and will tickle 40w on an "Auuuuuudio" shout. Can only turn down power to 3.5w DK via VR on radio but swings full wattage wherever I set DK up to 10w. Has double barrel mic jacks (6 pin left / 4 pin right) Great ears and excellent SSB. Since the original mic jacks 13.8v pin took a dump I have an RK56 on the 6pin side for SSB and a M6-C on the 4pin side for DX. Love it to death and drives a 4 pill shweet |

Well, if it has that echoe and you are going to run some help, the Delta should fit the bill. Don't get me wrong, I have an Omega, and it's great, but other than the built in modulator, I don't see any difference in the two radios. Mikefromms |

Omega Force & Delta Force are great radios. But the Omega Force is the most bang for the buck. |

Below is Coppers description and price comparison. I noticed when cuttting and pasting that a few options that I KNOW the Delta has are not listed? In reading the differences I only see the TOP-GUN as the ONLY difference? Well that and 10 more whiskeys PEP EVERY other option listed for the Omega is the SAME as with the Delta. Maybe I'm missing something else here? Potential buyers SHOULD be aware that these radios have freq DISPLAYS and NOT counters! Just a heads up. Wish I had read the fine print a little better. Still...with a mere $20 price difference...flip a coin! Honestly seem too much alike to make a call! I Love my Delta BUT If I were to do it over for $20 more I might have chosen the Modulator feature on the Omega. THEN again....It doesn't list dual mic jacks for Omega but Delta has them? Hmmmm....Delta is also IN STOCK....Ahhhh high class problems wish all problems were this tough.
