what can you guys tell me about the new omnidirectional antenna that copper now carries? how does it compete with the A-99 and how about DXing?

Davec,

Stick with your antennas made in the USA. The Sirio 2016 is a an excellent performer and has wide bandwith but the ally is very thin.

If you want quality go with 'Sigma Antenne' in Italy. The Sirio stuff does perform no doubt but are like Italian cars ie, high performance, lightweight and badly built. Hey i should know Ive owned enough Sirio stuff in the past including quite a few Alfa Romeo's too :-)
