Hello all, anyone have one of these Ranger 6mtr rig and like to know if you are using a different hand mic then the stock mic and if so what mic are you using? My audio is told that is alittle low and the gain ont he rig is turned up to max. I emailed Ranger 2 times with no replies. Anyone? Thanks! |

i used a road devil noise cancelling/power mic on the rci5054dx100, used only as a base. the signal reports were fantastic with it! with the stock mic.....yup, the reports said the audio was a bit weak. |

Just my opinion but having own one its a bit big for the car and thats where it would be at its best ... For someone wanting a 6 meter radio ONLY it's a good set. I got rid of mine because it wound up being a " BACK UP " radio.
