I have owned one. A good radio, but it has some short falls. The recieve is not the best. On SSB it can be down right bad. And the audio is not hot, but the radio's real trouble was the fact it would just stop transmiting with any power. Mine would drop to 1 watt. A great looking radio, but it was never really able to get the bugs worked out. Just my opinion, for what it's worth! |

Wasn't President going to market that radio and didn't because of problems?
Neat looking radio though. It's display sort of resembles a Kenwood TS-570. |

I bought one new about 2002. It never worked right, and I eventually got a refund on it after a lot of "negotiation" with the vendor who is no longer around... |
