Anyone use this radio or have had experience with it? Im trading a guy a Connex 4800 for one. |

I HAVE A HR2600 it is an great radio, mine has the Chipswitch installed. It does about 45 watts SSB. |

good deal to me if you get the chipswitch in it , if not itll cost you twice. one youll need the 75$ chip that needs to be soldered in and the youll need to have someone solder it in. keep in mind that it has 64 pins that need to be soldered or unsoldered!!i have the 2600 and it is a really nice great ears radio. cold on a winter day..the display is slower to move but damn nice clear working radio. hey good luck. |

get it its worth it!! 4o watt final you should have it key no more then 15-17 max watts am side but let the ssb swing . mine does 35-40 without maxing ssb out and runs excellent. good luck |

Got it and it works great!!!!!! keys up about 10 watts AM swings to about 40 to 45 and about 45 on SSB>..... |

Do they still make this radio,been told it's the same as a lincoln,but i've never seen one.whats the difference between them,is it like a 2510? |

Same as 2510 except no roger beep and a couple of other things. |
