I have ordered the Maco 103C HV beam and plan to use the verical elements for 11m and the horizontial elements for 10m.
Anyone else doing the same?
I am interested in how well the vertical elements work as an omni for local comms out to three or four miles.

Willeecue,

We have had no problem's with picking up locals on the verticle as an omni up to 6-8 miles away.

99.9% of the Contacts we have made with other CEF Radio Club Member's during the Sunday CEF Net's have been using the FLAT SIDE.

The M103HV is a GREAT LITTLE BEAM!

Hope this help's,

Lon

Thanks Tech808.
I will write up a review for the beam and post it here after I use it for a week or so.
