--What would be the best choice of microphone for the above radio? Somethin' good and loud, haha. A friend of mine is borrowing my D104 handheld, so hopefully that mic. will sound great with it. Thanks.

P.S.
Will the 4 pin microphone that comes with the Mini Magnum work with the Cobra 150 GTL DX? The wiring for the Cobra 150 GTL DX is (1. Ground) (2. Audio) (3. TX) (4. RX) but, I do not know about the Mini Magnum.

Mayor513,

The MAGNUM MINI MAG WIRING IS:

Pin #1 ~ Ground (Gnd)
Pin #2 ~ Microphone Audio (AF)
Pin #3 ~ (TX)
Pin #4 ~ Receive (RX)

I also would suggest the SUPERSTAR DM-452 Hand Mic.

E01-06012 DM 452 SuperStar 4 Pin Power Mic

i think power mics give the 150 and 200 to many problems if tuned incorrectly.
(including but not limited to, transmit audio distortion/warble/clipping)
i would suggest the astatic 636L. great audio reports on my 200(even better than my super side kick)
