This radio was my first intro to a genuine ham radio. While this radio only has basic features it is a very easy radio to operate it is a rock solid performer and is a pleasure to use. It is very stable frequency wise and has never given me any trouble. Mine had the transmit opened up so is able to transmit on any frequency between 1.6 mhz and 35 mhz. I use it on eleven meters but also listening to the ham bands and shortwave listening as well.

Act of Congress......oh no Steve. That would leave it piled up in a backlog of red tape and executive lunches for the next 10 years and still only come up with a result of " I did not have sexual relations with that woman"....lol.
