Has anyone ever use 1 of these beam antennas , they have been around for a long time but not too much information or reviews can be found.

One of the local 10 meter hams here used one back 10 years ago it worked just fine.
He got rid of his because he wanted a multiband beam ( 20, 15 and 10 ) not because it was not a good antenna....... DUMMY HERE COULD HAVE BOUGHT IT ......... but didn't.

hilljack ......

Mr. Yagi and Mr. Uda in the 1920's figured all this out ......

Gain 2 elm = 3 dbd, 3elm = 6 dbd to get 9 dbd you have to double the number of elements correctly spaced down the boom.

SO ...........

No mater who makes the antenna if it is made right gain is determined by thoes 2 factors

NOT BY WHO MAKES IT .......

also there is no such thing as AUDIO GAIN and no 4 elm beam has 18 db gain or f/b of 40 db or f/s of 70 db ...... just an't going to happen ......

What company would ever claim such a thing
Bruce? LOL
Bruce is 100% correct in his above statements!
I like to also look at quality of how a beam
or any antenna is put together.
