Just to clear up a major mis-conception about the ERF-2030 MOSFET
The ERF-2030 is NOT a relabled IRF520.
The ERF-2030 was completely designed and manufactured from scratch by EKL and MAGNUM using a HEAVER US MADE MAIN FRAME which is made in the USA and has a much higher tolerance and consistency rating than other cheaper made mosfet's.
The IRF-520 mosfet was tested for use in the Magnum Radios and FAILED the Quality and Consistency test's and was thus rejected for use.
If they were the same mosfet then EKL and Magnum would not of had to design and manufactur a new product with heavier US made frames to use in the Magnum Radios.

So magnum has a semiconductor manufacturing facility?
How can they sell the ERF-2030 so cheap early on considering the price for R&D and the relatively limited number of components needed? I mean really, the Magnum Radio Market and retrofit market is TINY compared to what other users in the electronics industry would consume.
They still have semiconductor manufacturing in the USA?

There is a foundry in the US that is producing the MAIN Frames exclusively to EKL Specification's for the ERF-2030's.
