anyone know the details on this amp? 11 meter or other? I was looking at a kl-500 here, but someone told me there is a kl-501 with remote. |

Bigbird, I have not seen any on the US Market yet or the RM Italy Web Site yet but below is the information I could find. Bigbird, From my research of the RM Itally amps I would say that is a very nice amplifier. The RM Italy HLA Ham model amps are built very nice they have really good qaulity,better than the KL models. That model KL 501 looks kind of similar to the RM Italy HLA ham amps! Its the first that I have seen of a KL model thats not just a cb amp but a full HF freq. amp! So I bet it is one fine piece of gear. I would love to see inside of it! Kenny |

Antenna preamplifier 26 dB QUESTION: What type of remote cable will be required for use with the KL-501? ANSWER: A 8 pole cable, example a full cabled PC network cable (max 3m long) (Not Supplied QUESTION: What HF type radios will this amplifier work with ie: ICOM, KENWOOD, YAESU, Others? ANSWER: This amplifier work with all transceiver with max 15 W output (better 10 W) QUESTION/COMMENT: Any additional information you can forward to me on the NEW KL-501 will be a great help.
