I have a doesy tc 4002. It has been abused and used> The cal is of on it compared to a bird 43. I would like to buy a diff. meter. I can not afford a bird. So what is there out there would like a pep and rms meter.

The Astatic PDC 600 is a nice meter. It has 3 different meters (windows) and it's a monster! I have really enjoyed using it. Easy to use and I am confident that it is very accurate for swr. The PEP and RMS modes work just as well.
If your looking for a meter with only one window the Astatic 700 is also great according to many of our most respectable Copper members!

Those Palstar meters look nice. That will be my next one. They have a newer verson than the 150 out now. I think it is a WB 2000
