Check out the Galaxy 2547. Loaded with great features.Compact and neat.Dual power supply. Very cool base radio for a CB radio.

Thanks KABAR , but how is the receive & how are they on SSB.?

Receive on AM and SSB is just as good as any Cobra 2000GTL or Cobra 148GTL that I have owned.
Most Galaxy SSB radios drift some and take about 15 minutes to get on frequency.
I understand that the circuit board in the Galaxy 2547 base and the Ranger 696F base are about the same.
I consider the receive on my Galaxy 2547 to be excellent.
