I am in the process of building a 4 element for 11 meters.I am using an old maco 4 element and have run it through the yagi optimizer program, the match seems very good centered on 27.205, swr is good from below 26.965 to 27.800.I re did this beam to have a very large front to back, program shows about 38 db f\b , not much difference in the element lengths than the stock maco 4 but big difference in the element spacings. The driven element is very close to the reflector which accounts for the higher f\b ratio, another good thing is that 3 of the elements are behind the mast clamp, good for vert. polarization as the stock maco has the driven element very close to the mast pipe and possibly causing interaction when used vertically. When I get it installed i will try and post a review of my results.I hope everyone has a great and wonderful Christmas and New Year.
