i lost the power cords somehow to 2 of my radios.one is the connex 4800 dxl and the other is a galaxy 99v.can anyone tell me how many amp fuse these radios come with?i want to get new cords and put the right amp fuse back in both.thanks

Freebird, I don't remember what amperage fuse my 4800 came with. At one time I was using a 3 amp fuse and the radio blew it at full power. Right now I am using a 7 amp fuse and no problems for over a year now.
I would think if the radio has been peaked and tuned for max output you might want to use a little heavier fuse.
Also I think most single final cb radios have a 3 amp fuse from factory. An export with 2 finals probably needs twice the amps that a little cb does.
Doing a lot of thinking here! Hope I could help.
