Hey guys, gotta friends Cobra 142 that works great on am and used to on ssb. Just recently it started this transmit "intermitent B.S." only on ssb...It sounds fine for the first second or two while transmiting on ssb then starts getting "choppy" sounding. I've checked the bias on final & driver and they check o.k. I'm thinking it might be a cap getting leaky under load so I'm gonna replace the 10v caps in the bias area...anybody gotta clue or experience this before? As always any advice is greatly appreciated:-) Thanks, Hooty
