Got a friend with a 3300hp zx with an intermittent problem. Turn it on & she works fine for a couple of minutes then slowly fades out...no receive or transmit...then it will "pop" back in and work fine for a while. I've gone over the board with magnifing glass and tacked up anything that looked suspect. Also replaced c90, c195, c194...maybe a little better but problem is still there...Any advice is always appreciated:0 Thanks, Hooty

just guessing here, but look for a bad elec. cap in the power supply, or the PLL section.
also right near the audio amp IC.
not familiar with this radio at all.

anyone wanting a "clean signal", just look to the left and build one of these!!!

Thanks Kid V...I replaced a total of about 11 caps all around the power intake down through the audio chip and around the pll..whent back & touched up some more spots on the board and she is working like a champ now(fingers crossed) Thanks again, Hooty!!!
